Mary-Bridget, Ascension Trust’s development manager, is running two marathons to support our Oyibi Project in Ghana.
The Oyibi Project aims to build a centre for accommodation and training for vulnerable young girls and women who arrive in the city of Accra to look for work and to support their families in the north of the country.
Mary-Bridget will be running the Barnstaple Marathon on 25 September 2016. Please sponsor Mary-Bridget and support the Oyibi Project if you can.
Mary Bridget says “I appreciate your gifting as a motivator at this time when I am struggling to build up the miles so I can attempt 26. It is a long time [2010] since I have run a full marathon. The Torbay half last month was very hard and knocked my confidence regarding going the distance. I need all the support I can get and the sponsorship is a motivation not to give up”.
